Keyword Links, How Can They Get Traffic?

Keyword links gets traffic. If you quickly do a search for click here you might be surprised by the results. Adobe is right at the top for a grand total of almost 1.4 billion results. Why did this happen? Its simple, the keyword link for almost every page where you can download Adobe says: To get Adobe click here. And this was unintentional, so Im not sure if they get traffic with that search.

So what exactly is a keyword link? A keyword link is a focussed back link, a link that points to your site. But its a super back link. A keyword link not only gives your site a back link, but also tells the search engines that your site is the authority on that keyword phrase. In short Google loves keyword links. And you want Google to love you.

So is using keyword links part of your marketing repertoire. If not you should ask yourself why, because using keyword links to your advantage is almost as easy as tweaking what you are already using. Using discussion forums? You should have a keyword link in your signature pointing back to your site. Writing articles? Make sure you have a keyword link, or two, in your resource box. Simple tweaking, great new results!

And its so easy to get the right keywords for your keyword links. The major search engines, including Google, have a keyword research tool that will show you how many searches were done on a whole family of a particular keyword or keyword phrase. Have a look at a specific keyword and its family and choose a brother or sister keyword that is typical of your site, but not to widely used.

As an example if your site teaches people to get traffic to their sites, you want to promote your site using the keyword link get traffic or get traffic now or get free traffic. So it would look something like: Want to learn more about getting traffic click here, get traffic. You word have get traffic as your back link and not click here, its no use competing with Adobe for this keyword phrase, they basically own it.

I think its best to concentrate on one or two keyword links when you start out promoting your site. If you sow different keyword links all over the internet your efforts will take some time to start giving you some really hardcore results. You want to get traffic now, not later.
