Got On Google Page 1 Within An Hour!
Quite proud of myself at the moment. Actually I’m very proud of myself at the moment.
The story begins yesterday when I took my car in for a service. The clowns that inspected my car phoned me up and told me that my service was going tot cost me 4 times more then I had expected it to be. And on top of that my tensioner assembly, apparently something that connects your alternator to some fan belt, fell out while driving to my missus last night!?!?! Ya, it got a little ridiculous.
So today i was homebound as I tried to sort out my car. So I did some keyword research and wrote up an article, as you do when you have a little time on hand. Imagine my surprise when I spoke to a friend about how I had done the research and writing. While going through the minor details with him I saw that within about 1 hour of publishing the article :

- I was ranked 2nd on Google Page 1 for the keywords in ” ” (6 700 results)
- I was ranked 9th on Google Page 1 for the keywords without ” ” (8 070 000 results, yes baby!)
This was for a long tail keyword phrase with about 300 monthly searches (averages between Google and Wordtracker).
And all I did was follow the advice in this blog.
